$750 is the annual fee for Go to Meeting.

Discussion on using association funds to provide marketing materials and training videos for members on disease management, shipping, plants to mention a few.

David’s farm recently hosted a program for 45 attendees to include the Department of Agriculture, the USDA, and (20) Indian Tribes

Discussion on whether to have meetings every other month instead of every month during the butterfly season. It was decided that a monthly meeting would continue and the meetings would be kept to a strict one hour.

Connie will wire the IBBA donation to Butterflies & Their People. Ellen will create a check sign and have photos taken for the IBBA website.

New Business

By-laws prohibit competing organizations from advertising to the IBBA members. The AFB has requested solicitation of their upcoming conference to the IBBA members. Since they are a competing association, they will be told that it is against the association by-laws.

Kathy Marshburn will be sending out pricing information and registration information on the excursion to Belize. Discussion on naming the event: IBBA Educational Excursion was one of the suggestions. Other naming suggestions can be emailed to the board.

The IBBA will host the conference in 2020. Discsusion on the popularity of conferences in Florida
